Jubilee

I have been performing since 1982, with Jubilee. This band includes fiddler Shonti Elder from Wasilla, Alaska. A talented fiddler that I first met around 1980. The band was originally cast with flutist Elsa Aegerter and my wife Denise Martin. Back then it was flute, pennywhistle and guitar. Now days Denise plays hammered dulcimer and concertina. Recently we have been lucky to have Ben Saylor play bass and mandolin with us.We specialize in traditional dance music, and often play for square/contra dances put on by Dancing Bears. We also play at weddings, parties and festivals. We've produced one recording as a group, "A Welcome Sound." (See CDs)
